Nutella Stuffed Milo Cream Cheese Muffins
Moist and tender cream cheese muffins with a goey nutella filling.
I'm a fan of milo.
I never really knew that until today.
My friend reminded me of the days drinking a cup of warm milo as we sat in the air-conditioned computer room in our mentor's office.
It was a warm feeling. The feeling of home and happiness.
It was the warmth of chocolatey goodness in a cup that gave us the strength to keep working.
Milo. The power of it all.
Plus nutella? Absurdly good.
Nutella Stuffed Milo Cream Cheese Muffins
Makes 7 large muffins
1/2 cup (125g) softened cream cheese
3/8 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup oil
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
6 tbs milo powder
7 tsp nutella, cold
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Grease or line 7 muffin tins with paper liners.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until well combined. Add egg, vanilla and oil.
Fold in the flour, baking powder and milo.
Spoon the muffin batter into muffin tins until 1/3 full. Put 1 tsp of nutella in the centre and fill the top up with batter.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
